The Survey of the Conception on the Acupuncture


Abstract
From lst march, 1995 to 31, July 1995 during 5 months, we gave 180 persons question-naires for the survey of the conception on the acupuncture. They were divided into three groups, Group A were 60 supporters, Group B were 60 cancered patients and
Group
C were 60 surgical patients, and then analyzed and obtained the results as follows :
1) Senior high school graduations (44.44%) were most common (Group A:50.00%, Group B:46.67%, Group C:36.67%).
2) 131 of 180 persons (72.78%) were experienced when they were asked to be treated the acupuncture. (Group A: 65.00%, Group B:80.00%, Group C:73.33%)
3) 132 of 180 persons (73.33%) did not feel rejection against acupuncture (Group A: 76.33%, Group B: 78.33%, Group (C:68.33%).
4) They thought that the effect of acupuncture analgesia have scientific basis (Group A: 76.67%, Group B: 43.33%, Group C: 76.67%).
5) 153 of 180 persons (86.11%) are willing to be treated the acupuncture if they get sick (Group A: 85.00%, Group B: 86.67%, Group C:85.00%).
6) 150 of 180 persons (83.33%) thought oriental doctor have to take care of acupuncture (Group A: 86.67%, Group B:81.67%, Group C: 81.67%).
